I gotta hand it to them on this new Windows 8 preview: those new graphics for the playing cards in Solitaire look great!!! I wish we had artwork that good for our Linux solitaire games. Metro sucks, however. |

Khamul, funny, that is _exactly_ what I was thinking when I saw the Solitaire graphic. So that is what the development time was spent on! I was actually quite pleased that Solitaire didn't change from Win3.1 through Win2K. It was possible to see just how much faster my computer was by seeing how fast the cards bounced away at the end, because it was done on loop-timing rather than real-time. Ah, progress. |
