It is a no frills, no fuss utility. At least the command line tool that is. The front end seems to be an obtuse exercise in frustration. But flashing from the CLI is easy enough. A small warning on the side. Anyone planning to flash and use ICS. ICS doesn't use the USB Mass Storage protocol anymore, but has switched to MTP. MTP Support in Linux is, how to put this diplomatically, barely existent. A quick work around is the excellent app AirDroid. This makes your phone accessible over Wifi in your browser. |
