Its a shame the image they are shipping only offers LXDE/XFCE as desktop choices. E17 is far more elegant/flashy and resource wise it is on-par with LXDE and it uses far less than XFCE does!

That leaves an opening for your ARM netbook remix, doesn't it. How's that going? I realize that you can't be firm about anything until you can get your hands on one of the Pi boards, but do you think you'll be able to fit Bodhi into its resources?

I'm typing this in Firefox, running in a Bodhi session booted with "mem=256M".

Yes, it's on x86, so it's completely useless as a real answer to the question. But it's still worth pondering.

My Pi-Preoder claims to ship out on April 3rd. I plan to have SD card images of Bodhi for the Pi ready by the end of April at the latest should my device arrive in a reasonable amount of time :)

I half started our ARM branch some months back just so we could support this little guy. Bodhi should even run on their lower 128meg of RAM model.

The lower model got bumped to 256M.
