Not a Windows user, but it might matter to me anyway for stuff I do professionally. HTML5 and CSS (and, of course, javascript) are weighing pretty heavily on me these days - and, as I understand, they are first-class citizens on the Windows 8 desktop. That might allow me to do things on/for Windows that I've never been able to/had resources for before. As somebody who needs to make a living, that's pretty interesting even if it's not exciting. |

@dinotrac, I think it would be even more interesting AND exciting (AND useful!) once FOSS devs manage to release patent-UNencumbered GPL-workaround projects substituting the best "things on/for" Windows 8. 2c |
