17 years of awards listed with Dennis Ritchie nowhere to be found. A bunch of those other award winners wouldn't be there since their work depended on C existing in the first place.

For creating C and unix, Dennis Ritchie should get Dr Dobb's Lifetime of Achievement (That Makes the Rest of Us Feel Our Accomplishments Are Insignificant) Award. (Posthumously, of course ).
