What would MS do if they couldn't control display & shelves?

What if they couldn't arm-twist OEMs into favouring MS-based products, and brick-and-mortar stores stocked display counters with what customers wanted to buy? Remember how back in the heyday of the netbook (eg. Eee 901) we used to ask that very question? Now we know. The question is officially settled. I guess providing big-box retail chains with "training materials / training courses" is no longer sufficient. |

It'll backfire on them, just like everything else Ballmer has tried. Sales dweebs who try to appear that they *like* the LosePhone, will merely come across like the "Windows 7 Release Party" video, creepy confirmations of the saying: Upton Sinclair wrote:It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it! |
