Wow, Dr Dobbs questions the basic tenets of Microsoft software architecture, and as near as I can tell, does it correctly. I'm shocked. I realize Dr Dobbs isn't a "trade rag" per se, but Microsoft usually manages to bamboozle the Main Stream Media pretty thoroughly. Who at Wagg Ed is going to get publicly flogged for this happening? Or maybe Andrew Binstock just needs another refreshing press trip to the beautiful Pacific Northwest of North America. Who can say? |

Windows 8 provides yet another chance for Linux, that I predict will be lost.... Because no one with the ability to do anything will see it, those that do don't market it right or at all, or aren't interested in the desktop. |
