I used it last night to make this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uqXt79-FYc which I didn't add any effects or any transitions, but I did play with them a little bit and it was very simple to use, and I only have played around with editing videos 4-5 times in the past. I also love how it will pass jobs to blender for transitions and such, really keeps with the Linux way of doing things "do one thing and do it well" and pipe the job to the next process! A great piece of software.

That is a vertex plus 60 gig newegg had it on sale for 59.00 with free shipping and then it had some kind of $10 rebate (which I didn't bother with) but it is about the cheapest and probably the slowest you can buy, but what a difference it makes compared to a 7200rpm hard drive. It was the single best improvement I have done to my computer.
