I actually voted for Pat Paulson for President in 72 as an overseas write-in candidate. Being out of country, I knew my vote was going in the cr@pper anyway... But I was as serious as anyone could be given the choices of candidates that year. Or the upcoming for that matter. Saw him at the Celebrity Theater in the Round in Phoenix in 74...he opened for Frank Zappa....It was a night I remember fondly. No it isn't. I only know I was there because I still have the ticket stub and occasional flashback. +1 herzeleid for knowing who Pat Paulson was. And since I am about the third generation thread stealer here, speaking of Zappa, who can finish this lyric without searching for it? Ronnie's in the army now and Kenny's taking pills. Oh, how they yearn..... Double points for naming the album. |
