They need to call off this summit, before the Gnome team's idiotic ideas infect the KDE team members. There's nothing useful the Gnome team can add, as all they want to do is dumb everything down to appeal to tablet-using morons.

The beer is a necessary ingredient for testing. If someone can still use {GNOME,KDE} while totally sloshed, it's considered a release candidate.

Of course, Grishnakh, the flip side of that proverbial coin is that maybe KDE folks will talk some sense to the GNOME folks. That sort of thing works both ways.

I think the idea of a desktop summit is a good one, and I'd hope that other desktops might be invited in the future.

I still want to know who won the GNOME-KDE soccer match.

Larry, rumor has it that when a Gnome dev asked one of the KDE devs how they were, he replied "Well, we can't kick."
