Yeah, I've been saying Mepis is under rated and I'm glad that others who know of Mepis are spreading the word for the unity refugee's. I've not read about roadmaps for xfce or lxde but hopefully they will provide a comfortable, stable desktop for those not interested in the whole ui fad which is sweeping all areas of computing. I've not tried Mepis since 8.5 so I'm unsure what it looks/feels like in the newer releases... |
