I had them on my own site as well. It worked pretty well. You'd have to show your site was substantially about FOSS. You'd get server small, inobtrusive ads for FOSS projects and products. Ads needed to be pre-approved by the site owners before they'd appear in the network. The same idea as "The Deck", but targeted at FOSS instead of webdesigners. A small, but highly targeted (thus high-margin) ad network. It was the only ad network whitelisted in my adblocker. Too bad they didn't make it. |
