I stopped using it because they made it such a pain to get to, and the results got more and more disappointing.. I wanted it mostly when setting up a "new" system or at least "new" hardware (quotes because for me "new" is often "used"), and it got moved around, from one relatively awkward to reach place to another -- bookmarks got stale, or I was on a new install without bookmarks transferred over yet, and somehow the returned results stopped being very good; I gradually slipped into the habit of using the regular search page first, and pretty much forgot about it. Google Linux Search was killed off long ago -- they've just gotten around to sweeping out the remains. |
