I also know about not counting it out. The situation you're in is an indictment of a health care system that borders on the criminal, but even that can't take away the most powerful healing forces we have: the care and support of those we love, and the powerful healing mechanisms built into each and every one of us. I know you're a tough old cuss when things strike you personally. I'll bet some of that's rubbed off. Strength, healing, and good humor to you both. |
