After living almost 4 decades and seeing how people in power really act, whether it's through malice, greed, or sheer incompetence, I've become an extremely cynical person, and I normally would have little hope that this Attachmate company would do anything good with SUSE (after all, look how poorly Novell managed it). However, I have found a cause to have real hope: the first thing they did when they got their hands on SUSE was to jettison the Mono project and everyone involved with it, including Miguel himself. This can only be a good thing. |

I haven't done a lot of back-reading on this but I am guessing chairs were thrown within the Redmond Campus upon this announcement. I'm just sayin'.... |
