"5- Now place the cursor in the text from where you start editing. Hit ."

"Hit ."? What's that mean (assuming I'm a newb reading this)?

Stupidly written article about a stupid subject. The last way I want to access the web is via cell-phone.

What's wrong with surfing the web with a cell phone? Elaborate, please.

EDIT: And the author means hit the . key.

I surf the web on my Android phone all the time, via secure wifi. What's the problem again?

It's a pain in the arse. that's what it is, I stopped trying and went back to using my smart phone for the only purpose that actually doesn't strain your eyes, or give you RSI, telephone calls.

posted from my nokia n900 using opera mobile 11.

there are certain requirements for decent webbrowsing on mobile phones: hi res, big screen, fast cpu/rendering, marksmanship or a virtual keyboard that doesn't suck (the one provided by opera sucks).

ps. just finished watching 2001 space oddessy and it was an exceptionally painful experience. if you've never seen it, make sure you'll never watch it in your lifetime.

I think the requirement for decent web browsing on a phone is an N900...

Those who never experienced it,... Think netbook with a (good quality) touch screen...

Heh. You're assuming a decent-quality smart-phone. Mine is a dumb phone, and its browser is similarly brain-dead.

I prefer to have the upper hand when I have a battle of wits with my gadgets.
