The only problem is these folks are in lockdown mode and will have none of the other competitors get in the way. Just take a look at apple over the years and notice how cool they are when it comes to outsider inclusion even if it means alienating developer's or even interested 'consumers'. Then there are the web services like say netflix which will support android but not gnu/linux in general. I'm not so sure this is great news for anybody save for those who pray to the almighty dollar. |
