I'm running 2.6.37 right now, not 2.6.38, which I'm sure Liquorix will be packaging up for Debian soon enough. Since my graphics with the open-source ati/radeon driver aren't broken in Debian, I'll run glxgears after I get the new kernel and see if there's any change.

But ... do I need a new ati/radeon driver package for this to work? I might need to try a live image of (insert distro here) with 2.6.38 in the default.

If you're running the open source ATI driver, aren't the modules included in the kernel?
