I note that Jos Poortvliet did intend to put openSUSE 11.1 into this "Tumbleweeds" process but Novell has already discontinued its support for that version: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-announce/2011-01/msg00002... Admittedly, the Tumbleweeds project seems to be community based, not a direct Novell activity, so it may still action openSUSE 11.1. I hope so because version 11.1 is the last version of openSUSE that still supports KDE3.5. The other aspect is that openSUSE 11.1 almost seems made to measure for the Trinity project . My latest information from the Trinity group indicates that a version of their KDE specifically built for openSUSE (rpm packaging) is now well underway . |
