Just downloaded and installed the deb from the article and I am supremely happy with this app. Maybe a bit complex at first blush but it's intuitive and a great application for my extensive mp3 collection. Since I've acquired most of my music from, ahem....various sources, the tags are a mess. Getting a 2000+ library straightened out is going to be a task no matter what tool you use, but with Puddletag, it's one-stop tagging. No need to open two or three apps to do the job. One great benefit, at least for me is now, the cover manager for Clementine fetches the correct album art. Now that the titles of the songs and artists are in the right format. Extremely nice app. My thanks to the person(s) who busted their a$$ contributing this great software. h |
