to me java has finally become just like windows - proprietary and something I only need to use at work because it is forced on me by a decision I had no say or input. sick of larry, bill, steve and all these so called tech geniuses. they hold back technology more than help it in my book. java has rode the fence for a while as far as going open source or proprietary so now I guess oracle decided to keep it proprietary. sad really that a company can be so paranoid and think it is a better business model. |
