Still no multiple previews

Compiz, appears to still not have the ability to display previews of each of the windows when you have multiple instances of an application or multiple windows of the same application (FF for example). This is why I've stopped using the standard Window list applet and replaced it with the DockBarX applet. |

I have no problem w/ that when using Cairo-dock. Maybe it's a limitation of the dock & not compiz. |

Whatever it is, replacing the Window list applet with DockBarX applet gives me what I want. I don't like those Apple Mac style Dock bars, so Cairo-dock is not an option. Thankfully DocBarX is available as an applet that can be added to the standard GNOME panel. The only improvement i'd like to see to the DockBarX applet is elastic sides so that it stays centred in the panel. |
