that makes me want to replace my current version of Nautilus. I guess when it arrives, on whatever distribution I'm using, as the default I'll use it.Quoting:Most of the newbie that just started using Ubuntu (or any other Linux distro) are scared of the terminal, and the bash command. What Nautilus Elementary does is to embed a terminal right inside your Nautilus. Simply press F7 or go to View -> Embed Terminal to reveal the terminal. This "feature" though, I absolutely loath, it was on of the things that most turned me off about Dolphin. If it's not possible to add 'Open in terminal' to the right mouse context menu, and get a separate terminal window, I will have to find a new file manager to replace nautilus. |

Mainly it look a bit nicer and is required to work with Gloobus. There is a package called nautilus-open-terminal. I ain't see the features mentioned in the article though. Whoops, look like I have to install Ubuntu 10.10 to get them. |

I'm trying out Ubuntu 10.10, apparently it failed while trying to update the kernel header. |
