One problem exists with the SDK lincense,... It limits development on their proprietary flight control systems end to interactive gaming. No surveilance, no military or police applications. How they would enforce that, I don't know,... but it's there. Also, from what I understand, web connectivity is turned off. It was apparently included on the prototype (no word on whether it will be returned in the future). Also, there is currently no recording video output, and a allegedly a proprietary video codec format... I suppose they want to limit lawsuits based on its use as a domestic spying/stalking tool (so, limiting ability to take "paparazzi" pics of the MILF or young teenage hottie next door sunbathing in thier altogether), or being classified as an UAV (which requires special pilot licensing, in some jurisdications, and is only available to military personnel or civilians connected to the military). |
