I much prefer the current option, which is to launch the terminal from the context menu. It works well, CDs to the current directory, and the terminal is independent of the Filemanager, which means you can open any other directory in the filemanager, or close the filemanager, and still have the terminal available, and is a much more flexible option. Far too many of the new "features" these days seem to be about reducing flexibility, rather than expanding it.
