While they are busy fighting new enemies on multiple fronts the open source community can continue to build and improve alternatives to all of their existing bread and butter core products. |

The writer ignores that fact that both Google and VMware were built on top of, and heavily utilize, open source software. So Microsoft still is fighting FOSS, even if they don't recognize it. |
