Steven, even though I currently don't have any systems that are affected by the kernel mode setting problem, I'd like to thank you for repeatedly bringing it to everyone's attention. It must feel good to know that you played a role in convincing someone to finally do something about it. |

I wish I knew whether this is a change in the mainline Linux kernel, as opposed to something added by Ubuntu. |
