If they do not get to put there code in the mix it will be harder for them to influence the direction that Joomla travels. One thing they can do, even if there code is up and up is to slow down the progress by making sure that the code they put in is frequently changed or when maintenance is needed they respond or fix it slowly. |

If it's not core then it gets dropped, if it's core than it gets forked. It's not an issue if it's OSS. |
