Quoting:The latest Firefox build, Firefox 3.6.2 is released. And Ubuntuzilla Repository is the easiest way to install Firefox 3.6.2 in Ubuntu.
Here's an article that describes how to install Firefox in Ubuntu with one command.

I manually installed Firefox 2.x in Debian Squeeze some time ago, and since then, I've received automatic Firefox updates from Mozilla as soon as they're released.

I got Firefox 3.6.2 a few days ago with one click (to confirm that I wanted it).

Great if you're running 32 bit.

Somebody please tell me if I'm out of my mind (in this specific context, not generally) --

Didn't the firefox folks used to make 64 bit packages? I could swear that I've updated many times directly from the firefox site.

If so, when the Hell did those %$#@? morons stop?

Do you know of anybody building the 64 bit packages -- for Debian or Ubuntu?

Yeah I'm using the nightly builds, I was running 3.7, but had too many problems so wnet back to 3.6, then 3.6 was released, so now I'm a minor version ahead of the current 3.6 release.
