Unless you've really got time on your hands, wouldn't you just use UpdateManager (or apt) instead of "the easy way," which in this case means going to http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ ??? |

I think your right, I was expecting compiling advice not 'click here' advice. |
