Google doesn't care less about privacy. True. Microsoft is better? I doubt it. Cuil or Mooter or Alta Vista might have been better recommendations. |

I use both ixquick.com and scroogle.org. Ixquick doesn't save any information about you and Scroogle only saves your IP address for a couple of days. So Ixquick is slightly more private, but Scroogle submits your search to Google, so it gives better search results. Neither site uses cookies. Both sites provide a free Firefox search-bar addon. I use the ssl version of each addon. |

Ixquick is a bit slow though, but it works. Fun thing is it actually uses Google and Bing, but Google & MS don't know who's using their service. If enough people are going to use Ixquick, I'm pretty sure at some point in history Google will try to 'ban' them. |
