There is a nice audiobook player available for the Linux powered Android phones and devices called Ambling BookPlayer. It will handle multiple audio files as a single audiobook for playing and bookmarking. The bookmarking includes an automatic history feature that tracks all the places you have started or stopped listening and has undo and redo buttons to jump back to the places you where at before. There are several versions available on the Android Market including a free version called Ambling BookPlayer Lite which includes support for easily downloading lots of free LibriVox audiobooks.
