If Dell sells 30% of netbooks with Ubuntu, then on the surface it looks like Linux/Mac momentum is too strong now for MS to deal with even if Win 7 is accepted well. I guess we wait and see now. In a little more than a year MS's revenue from Windows (in statements, they called it "client" before) gradually decreased by 40% and total revenue by 18%. At the same time Apple's sales of computers increased by 22.5% and total revenue by 32.3%. I would love to see some way of forcing these OEM deals out in the open. You're right Caitlyn. It's an amazing coincidence. |

@Sander: I can't say it's more than a coincidence, but given Microsoft's history I can ask questions and be suspicious. |
