Didn't Warren do this with Mepis a while back?

Mepis went from Debian to Ubuntu and switched back to Debian.

Is that what you are referring to?

Ohh, you're right -- I got it backwards. Thanks.

I wonder what they're going to rename the distro?

My suggestion:

Eeeebian

I vote for Beedeebuntu (reverse the syllables, add a bunch of eee's, tack on a buntu) 2c

@flufferbeer, gus3: It's not based on Ubuntu any more so any -buntu names are inappropriate. Of course, if you got to Beedeebeedeebeedeebuntu you'd have the (1980s) Buck Rogers version.

I like both of tuxchick's suggestions. No foul smell there.

@caitlyn, I'm glad I'm not the only one whose brain skipped to that one.

Nah. I still like TC's suggestions better than "Eeek".

@dinotrac Then maybe EeekPC (YikesPC!)? Or Debeekian? LOL :)

Or more seriously "Wyattix" after Andrew Wyatt ? Or even taking off the Wy from this and having just the name "Attix" for a distro?
