"Consimate" is such a polite word.

My immediate reaction is somewhat less politely phrased. Edit: Some day the spelling checker will check subjects, as well as bodies. |

I wouldn't have expected that reaction from you Bob. Have you joined the group that believes that the best way to advocate for something is to advocate against something else? |

No, Az, I just am loath to trust Microsoft in any way what so ever. Much like the "deals with the Devil", even if the contract seems iron-clad it's very likely there is some way around it. After shaking hands with Microsoft, check your wallet. The count your fingers. Then your family members. |

@Bob_Robertson You are a braver man than I if you will get close enough to them to shake hands. |

Well, we all know what happens when a marriage is consummated, don't we? I guess Red Hat is willing to play the part of the blushing bride. |

> ...even if the contract seems iron-clad it's very likely there is some way around it. Sure. It's called breaking it. Just ask Sun about Microsoft and Java. Since the cost of forcing compliance is often higher than any gain from the contract, it's best not to make deals with companies that have demonstrated that you can't trust them to keep their word. |

Red Hat had better take the sage advice of Lawrence from Office Space... "Watch out for your corn hole bud". |
