SFD was celebrated at the ENMU Campus Union Bldg. Portales is not located in any "Tech Corridor" In fact all of Eastern New Mexico is a technological black hole. There were just a few visitors, but they were way cool and some of them will be on hand for the birth of our Linux Community. We reached many more people just getting the word out about the event. The Colonel and his trusty sidekick Mark learned a whole lot about doing this kind of event. Start earlier, work harder, would be my first thought.
