As soon as I commented on M$'s subterfuge in another thread, out comes this news of this new CodePlex Foundation. Just Wow! Code-sharing and interoperability for the mutual benefit of all you're thinking?? No way!!! Just another way for backdoor EEE. The chutzpah of it all! The higher-ups throwing all that money at Ramji for this just goes to show just how REALLY desperate M$ is for more developer talent and innovation in its floundering product-line. Sheesh! |

Indeed, these Interoperability overtures in the Microsoft Developmental Strategy against F/OSS remain strangely reminiscent of the fictional Borg Collective's in Star Trek: The Next Generation as each Borg Cube starship approaches its next victim (see the 'Resistance is futile' Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resistance_is_futile for this comparison) When approaching F/OSS project devs, --------------- We are the Microsoft Development Team.
