If Opera would open their source code I could get really excited about this. I like a lot of things about Opera. In many ways I like it better than Firefox. I still prefer to support FOSS projects. |

Okay, I was going to start a thread but decided to upgrade my opera first. Like the beta the menu's are sticky rather than free-flowing in previous versions. This reminds of older qt apps... The opera turbo is great for me as I'm on dial-up, I'm not using it when I'm logging into websites. I do hope that on their end it is still encrypted. I miss the windows classic skin but found gnome_2_0-1 to be the closest thing to work in it's replacement. Again, dial-up so not even gonna try unite but it certainly looks promising if & when we get more options for isp's in our area I'll give it a try. As for opera being closed source: I know... but opera is going in a direction that firefox is not (imho) and so I use it. Now if netsurf would get attention and funding that would be a browser to look-out for. My thoughts! |

I'm not thrilled with netsurf. Low on features would be OK if it wasn't slow. To me arora and hv3 are the ones I see as most promising. |
