I love when ace devs like Jeremy Allison give this kind of insight into what they do. Makes me all the more appreciative of how much hard work and talent go into Linux/FOSS. His shots at MS are always fun, too :)

I personally was astonished at the work he put into this one bug.

Also: I just knew that Excel was no good. Anything that managers like so much (PowerPoint, too) just has to be evil.

@phsolide: It appears Excel is an example of "micro-managing," displaying a total lack of trust in others to do what's necessary.
