Web Upd8 submits a lot of stories to brand x, and most of them are copied from other sites. I have contacted several of the original authors, and so far none of them have given permission for their material to be copied. A tiny attribution at the end does not make it legit. I suggest going to the sources and posting those, rather than using plagiarized articles. |

Indeed, especially considering that without a clear license the most draconian of copyright restrictions must be assumed to be safe. Per Berne copyright is granted automatically, there is no requirement to post notice of it at all. |
