On the US Apple Store page it says 3G iPhone from $99 (£60.83). On the UK Apple Store page it says 3G iPhone from £342.50 ($557.17). |

Maybe Apple feels less threatened in the UK than in the US. I do know that UK prices are usually significantly higher than in the US on tech items but this difference is pretty ridiculous. |

"Macemathics"? What's that? Some medieval logic system using bludgeoning weapons instead of + - * and / for operators? |

Quoting:"Macemathics"? What's that? Something only people without spellchecker in their browser understand I guess? |

It's an oblique reference to Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, Book 3 (I think) - Bistromathics- a form of mathematics based on paying bills in restaurants that powers a spaceship, thus reducing the infinite improbability drive to nothing. Or perhaps, so long and thanks for all the fish. |

It was $AU866.00 fro the iPhone I purchased. Over priced piece of rubbish that it is. |
