I routinely use FFmpeg to rip the sound tracks from YouTube or my own singing from SingSnap (it’s presented through an FLV there as well). I can spit it out as an MP3 to cram into my little AUD$10 player (ex-Hardly Normal, but KMart have better ones for AUD$13), as an Ogg to play on this laptop, or as a WAV or FLAC if I wish to do surgery on it (hello Audacity). |
