Except the netbook "death" is as slow as molasses while the time to reach the singularity at the heart of the blackhole is very quick. You may resume your linux reading now. |

Quoting:while the time to reach the singularity at the heart of the blackhole is very quick. Probably not intended, but as you might know Singularity is a Microsoft clone of the failed Inferno-OS attempt by a spin out of Bell Labs. And once MS is done they'll claim they invented the ideas of Plan9/Inferno and probably try to patent them. If so, you're referring to Microsoft as a black hole I suggest. When speaking about the ability to absorb lots of money without sending bringing light to the world meaning we're back in the dark ages: You're right I guess. O, what a nice prose - dare I say poetry? - if you think about it. None of this matters, as I'm probably the only one here following MS news. Darn, I have to find myself a job. ED: And if the universe disappears, it will happen with the speed of light so no one will notice; it won't even make the headlines. So why does anyone care about the non-event of the universe being destroyed; it won't be on tele, youtube or in the paper. Nobody would mind because if it happens there will be nobody to mind; so it's a non-event. Something one would expect of Slashdot. Rather write about if that would ever happen we might see the prophet Zarquon again. I agree: You may resume your Linux reading now. Who cares about Microsoft (or universe) failures? As long as the world emerges there's no problem. |
