If you have a machine that can run Moblin definitely take a look at the new GUI. It is impressive, at least for itty bitty screens and for ease of use for newcomers. It's very well thought out. You don't necessarily need a netbook to run Moblin. You do have to have either an Intel Atom or Core Duo processor. Nothing else works, not even other Intel CPUs. You also have to have a fairly recent Intel graphics chipset. WiFi support is also fairly limited. About a half a dozen chipsets are supported at this point. |
