May be is me, but how this helps to leverage, extend, make better or supports Linux?

You are talking about a M$OFT product with tons of patents inside, not worth the risk to use and the worst of all, you are focused on :NET which is a M$OFT only product.

Worst part is give it a year or two, and MS will be claiming they invented Python to begin with.

No. There are two free .NET projects.

Mono and dotgnu both offer non-Microsoft .NET alternatives.

And mono, is a very good implementation, in my experience.

Also, IronPython is FOSS, under an OSI approved license.
