MS Incompatable?

I wonder if this is because of Novel's Mono stuff or some other patent protected stuff that won't run outside of the x86 world? Nothing in the article indicated as such. |

Historially SUSE only supported ia86 32/64. OpenSUSE has been working on an ARM port, http://projects.powerdeveloper.org/project/imx515/734 Novell is just plain weird. You might recall this is the company that said in their last quarterly financial report "Microsoft didn't sell Linux stuff for us, so we didn't sell any. Maybe we need to try doing it ourselves." OK it's a paraphrase, but I think an accurate one. |
