I've been using Fedora 10 on my laptop for a while now. The artwork, in my opinion, is the best I've seen - particularly the KDM login screen. I'm not a KDE fan, but very much like their KDE 4.2 update. Package management has worked flawlessly for me, and I haven't had problems with updates breaking things and hardware that stopped working for no apparent reason as I did in the past. The new rpmfusion repo has almost all of the extras you expect with any distro. I came to the conclusion even before reading this article that Red Hat must be preparing to go after the corporate desktop market. I'm still not ready to give up Slackware for work, but Fedora is certainly giving it a run for the money. |

@bigg: Red Hat announced a new desktop enterprise edition a week or two ago. So, yes, they are going after the corporate desktop. |
