Doesn't that mean "to go up"?

Are they implicitly saying "Up Yours, America"?

That would be a welcome change (doing it only "implicitly", that is...)

I was thinking how funny, in a not-funny way, this sounds after their years of shipping tech jobs overseas, bringing in cheap compliant h1-B workers, and conspiring with the rest of the big tech companies to wipe out labor laws and invent the permatemp. hahahohoheehee.

To quote the old Rush song:

"Everybody needs to elevate from the norm."

Since the norm is Microsoft products I don't see how Microsoft can help. They keep people at the norm or below.
