This was always an interesting little project, but I never felt like paying for a perpetual beta, particularly when Linux was free, Free and rocked my processors. However, he lists open sourcing SkyOS as one of four options available to him, and I really hope he does that. There may be bits that would be useful to other OSes and projects, and perhaps we might even wind up with another open source OS to combat proprietary operating systems. The more the merrier, I say! |
