I don't use Ubuntu, what they have doesn't float my boat. But anyone using ANY Linux is good good. I use PCLOS, it just works for me. And its a friendly bunch as well. |

How many times have you talked to a @^^^%)# user this year?
Twice today.
One guy has a Linux Dell. He said it didn't have any good programs. Oh?
Like no address book. Oh?
I may not be a Linux Pro but I do know how to find an address book for him.
He left with my phone # and email. The other guy (couple) were Linux curious. The guy we dealt with when we picked up our new computers at the university bought one for his daughter, I helped him get a wireless card and then talked him through JAVA. That was Wed. Tomorrow? Who knows? But you can be sure that I will speak of Linux to someone. helios does it, Larry the Free Software Guy does it. That is what little I can do to help GNU/Linux FOSS Stand up and testify! |
